New design…

It’s been a while in the making (hence the radio silence!), but here is my new design! I don’t think it’s a secret that I love being by the water and the sea and I really wanted to design something that captured that being by the water feeling. Hopefully, this will do it. Let me know what you think. Feedback always welcome. My new necklace and earrings to match are for sale in my shop; a brooch will also be coming soon and is available on back order.

Exhibition progress report…

…err, lots and lots of lighthouses! Or, as someone has pointed out given a certain recent anniversary…they could be Daleks! Perhaps I could adapt them… Anyway, wearing my fingers down gradually as the exhibition looms!

I am now beavering away trying to keep up with demand…more pics to follow as I meet the demand 🙂

First Christmas order underway…

It’s been a while, but I have a fully functioning thumb now (following an injury in May!), which means I am well on the way with my first massive Christmas order! Consisting of lots of flower pins, earrings, necklaces and rings…I’ve also been busy experimenting with cold enamel, so have made some nice copper and red enamel heart (I can’t help but make them) earrings. I’ve also finished a fab necklace, which I will reveal soon…. In the meantime, here are some pics…

Welcome to my new website!

champagneHere it is!  My website – Alison Bendall Jewellery Designer!

As many of you will know, I have changed my  jewellery making name from Funky Rocks to Alison Bendall Jewellery Designer.

When I first started out making gemstone and beaded items, the name Funky Rocks seemed to fit that style of jewellery. Now that I have progressed and predominantly design and make silver jewellery, the name Funky Rocks no longer reflects or describes the jewellery I make, hence the new name.

My website is the start of something bigger and better, so do keep checking in! New collections will be added soon and I will be showcasing friends’ work on the gallery section of the website.

In the meantime, I just want to take this opportunity to say thank you to all my supporters and customers.
