New toy!
Here I am again! Sat in disbelief that my last post was over a month ago…again! I can see a pattern emerging! I have been trying (very trying) to keep up with Facebook and Twitter, but taking the time to write a blog post is a little more tricky, even if I am now only working 4 days a week in my day job.
The lovely Pam up at the National Trust gallery in Widecombe in the Moor is setting up a Meet the Artist weekend from 22nd May, and that’s the day I’ll be there to meet and greet visitors to the gallery and maybe even show a few new pieces.
Mother’s Day and Easter have been and gone and Spring has properly sprung. Not only has the weather spurred me on to start making some new pieces…the ideas are spilling out right now, including a new bangle collection, which I am very excited about, I also have a new toy!
For those wondering, its a kiln! An early birthday pressie from my lovely Sis. So, operation enamel experimentation commencing this weekend! And I’ll keep you posted…well, you know, probably in a month!
Happy weekend people!
